How can I obtain registration with the New Zealand or Australian Nursing Council without the need for theory exams or an OSCE?
Nursing education that leads to registration and has worked as a registered nurse for a minimum of 1800 hours in the last 10 years includes the following: UK, Ireland, USA, Singapore, British Columbia, or Ontario provinces (Canada) may not have to complete the tests of competence (the theory exam and clinical exam) to become registered nurses in New Zealand.
If you are still working, you can start your process even before completing 1800 working hours
Registration may not require your English test score to be valid.
