Australian migration for UK/Ireland registered nurses
How can I obtain Australian Nursing Registration without the need for NCLEX-RN or OSCE?
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have completed a recognized nursing qualification equivalent to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) on or after 1 January 2017, or hold a recognized nursing qualification from NMBA-approved comparable jurisdictions.
- Have successfully completed an examination process for internationally qualified registered nurses that led to registration in one of the NMBA-approved comparable jurisdictions.
- Have completed a minimum of 1,800 hours of practice as a Registered Nurse since 1 January 2017 in one of the NMBA-approved comparable jurisdictions.
- Registered nurse in the UK who hold registration with the NMC in Adult nursing specialisation are eligible for this new stream lined pathway.
